Description
Honey Possums are the only terrestrial mammals that survive off only nectar, bats can also be nectarivores however they do have the advantage of flight that makes it easier to flit from flower to flower. They need a whopping 7g of nectar a day, which doesn’t sound like much until you realise they usually weigh less than 10 grams themselves.
This print also features the Fuchsia Gum, one of the Honey Possums favoured flowers. Both the possums and the Fuchsia Gum are native to the southern area of West Australia.
This is a limited edition archival quality print of an original work by Australian artist, Pauline Dewar, and can be printed at A2 or A3 sizes.
It will be shipped unframed, well protected in a heavy duty mailing tube.
