Description
This is a drawing of HMS Pandora, drawn from the full size model in the Townsville Maritime Museum. The Pandora sunk in 1791 in the Torres Strait near Townsville whilst on a voyage to find the Bounty mutineers, and was not found until 1977, it is considered to be the best preserved and most important shipwreck in Australian waters.
This work is currently framed in a simple white timber frame without a mount board, but can be bought unframed if preferred.
